Moose Jaw:
These are a couple photos of Crescent Park in downtown Moose Jaw. It is a very beautiful walking park. For those of you that have been or live in MJ know what I am talking about. I miss being at home but look forward to visiting all the time.

Auntie & Marlee

This weekend while in Moose Jaw I got the chance to meet and spend sometime with my newest neice Marlee Paige Hadwen. This is Amanda and Tim's little girl. Auntie was looking after her for a bit prior to the wedding. Here she is wearing uncle Robbie's new fedora. She is such a good little girl very quiet and likes to bounce around (okay I should really say jump up & down). Thanks for the photo Dad.

Amanda & Tim's Wedding:

Congrats Amanda & Tim. They were wed on Friday 24th of August 2007, in a small family gathering. It was held at the skating oval. Marlee was dressed in the cutest little pink and blk polka dotted dress with a fuzzy trim jacket. Check out the video that I am learning to make on our laptop. Sorry still a bit shaky.

The Drive Home:
We left on wed to come home for my brother Tim's wedding to Amanda Ferguson. These are a few of the sights that we have seen on the trip home. This is along highway 3 just north of the Yellowhead highway. It is of the North Saskatchewan River. It is very beautiful area. The big bear is just south of Saskatoon as your leaving the city. There is a nice small park there to walk the dog. The bottom photos are of the World Largest Teapot and Cup. These are located at Davidson Sask.

My 1st Quilt:

Well I started making my 1st quilt last night. This is how it all started. This past summer 3 of our friends had babies. Charla and Cory had a little boy Lucas. Char and Cory are skulls and crossbones fans. Well yesterday afternoon while shopping at Wally World I ran into Lucas and Char. Lucas was wear dinos and had a sucky ducky blanket. After they left Robbie found some material that has skulls on it. SO being the smart girl that I am decided to make a skull blanket for baby Lucas. SO below are a photos of my 1st quilt. Right now it is stalled I have the front and the back done but have no clue on how to finish it. I took it to Grace's moms and she is going to help me finish it next week after Tim's wedding. IT has turned out pretty good so far.

Lloyd Road Trip:

Robbie and I had a date with Grace on Monday. We decided to go to Lloydminister for the afternoon to get a "Funky Monkey" from Booster Juice ( http://www.boosterjuice.com/ ) On the way there we just about hit a "rez" dog. Boy that jeep has good traction in the rain. We did a little bit of shopping. While shopping we ran in to Randi and Carmen so we did a little more shopping and then went for supper at Orginal Joe's. NOT a place that we all recomend NOT to go too. the service was horible. The food left something to be desired. The 3 girls ordered salmon, Robbie a sandwich and I ordered Nachos. Everyone got their food and I waited and waited for my supper. I had to go find someone about it. Once it did come everyone was just about done eating. Grace found a long wire in her food so back I went to find someone again. Our waitress was no where to be found still. I talk to the manager when I told him our problems with our meals and asked him to fix them. He had the nerve to ask me what the hell I know about the food service industry. OUCH. When I told him that I am a Red Seal Journeyman Chef that shut him up quick and he fix out meals but quick. So if your heading through Llyod DON'T got to ORIGINAL JOE'S.

Life is GOOD:

Well I have to make a confession to why life is GOOD. When I came home from living in St. Albert And i got my new job position. Things were very good and still getting better so i had an idea. Since I had lost a lot of weight and feeling good I thought that I'd be "smart" and stop taking my meds. Well it worked for awhile. Then I got the flu and got stressed out about a lot of things. Needless to say things didn't go so well after awile. Anyway to makw a long story short my blood sugars went to hell in a hand basket. I DO though have them under control right now. Well it effected my eye sight something bad. Now that it is under control again I went to the eye doc yesterday. Got heck from him when I told what happened. I thankfull did NOT do any kind of damage to my eyes and now I have to go see him every year.

Like I said life is GOOD

I promise that I won't do this again

THE KID IN HIM COMES OUT:

Well the kid him still comes out every so often. Tonight I bought him a treat. He calls it a grape knee high drink. Not sure why though but to me it is a grape float. I love to see the little things bring a smile to his face.

We are going to DOG RIVER

Today we went to Regina to drop Mom & Dad's friend at the airport. We finally got to have Chinese food. Once done we drove to "Dog River" to see where they tape "Corner Gas"

This is Robbie at the pumps.

This sign is on the door to the "Police Station" It is actually it is an ice cream shop that also sells Corner Gas stuff.
Worlds Largest Turtle: Ernie the turtle lives at Turtleford Saskatchewan. We stoped to see him on our way down to see my parents this Aug long weekend. We stopped by to surprize them. When I rang the doorbell , MOM answered the door there was No hello how are you but "what are you doing here?"
